About the BASTANI LONDON LTD
Our Story
The BASTANI LONDON LTD was born in Sheffield in 2024 with a simple idea — serve proper, flavour packed tacos from our little yellow trailer and bring something special to the local street food scene.
What started as a small setup at local markets and pubs quickly grew into something bigger. We fell in love with the buzz of event days, the music, the queues, and seeing people take that first bite and instantly smile. From day one, our focus has been on quality, bold flavours, homemade fillings, and fresh tortillas.
Quality ingredients
We pride ourselves in using the best quality ingredients and we don't take shortcuts. Our chillis are imported from Mexico along with a variety of other specilist ingredients to ensure the recipes are kept as authentic as possible. From our fiery salsas to our rich Birria consomé, every sauce and filling is crafted by hand in our kitchen. Our meats are slow cooked for up to 10 hours in small batches. The corn tortillas are made fresh every week, providing a perfect, naturally gluten free base for our vibrant fillings.
Growing the Trailer
As support for The BASTANI LONDON LTD grew, so did we. We recently upgraded to a bigger trailer to serve more events across Sheffield and beyond. We’ve also invested in our own storage unit and prep kitchen, giving us the space to prepare everything properly and maintain the high standards we’re proud of.
Even as we grow, our heart stays the same - independent, local, and passionate about great street food. You’ll still find us bringing the same energy, the same yellow trailer spirit (just slightly bigger!), and the same commitment to serving tacos worth talking about.
